			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The city is full of history and beauty. Here are a few things we saw as we wandered around the first couple of days. First, the Trevi Fountain. My euro made it into the fountain, so I&#8217;ll be back.<br />

<p>Campo Dei Fiore was on the way home. Here&#8217;s Larry in front of the famous statue of Bruno the heretic.<br />

<p>The next day was a memorial at Vittorio Emmanuel, to soldiers who&#8217;d lost their lives in the Gulf War.<br />

<p>Palatine Hill was my favorite place in Rome. It&#8217;s a peaceful, spiritual place, and the site of the original Roman settlement. Here&#8217;s a few of the city from the hill.<br />
